Only another month till spring, get painting your sheds for Shed of the year 2024
Behind the shed #60
Some sad news, the 2012 #shedoftheyear winner John Henry Plumridge has passed away, I spent a wonderful day (and we enjoyed a few local beers from his massive collection) with him & his family when we were doing the photos in his shed “Woodhenge” for press, he was always an avid supporter of everyone's sheds (and would contact me when each year’s shortlist would appear to give his views), he was always generous with his time and advice , RIP John.
A lot of people seem to be concentrating on their allotments at the moment, but spare a minute to look after your sheds and give them a patch up and fresh coat of paint (ahem, Cuprinol)
When you enter your shed into the competition, You can now add multiple ages to your details (only for internal use), so if lots of people of all ages use/build your shed you can now add it.
If you have not added your age, then contact me.
Some news coming soon why we are asking for sheddies ages!
BTW Entry for Shed of the year closes on May 31st 2024
Shed of the Year Needs Your Help!
We're aiming to upgrade to a lightning-fast web server and move over 36,450 amazing shed photos to the cloud. This means a smoother browsing experience for everyone! A huge thank you to the "Sheddies" who've already supported us.
➡️ Click here to see how you can help!
There are about a half a dozen sheddies who have not sent any photos over yet - if you can do that ASAP (when the weather gets nicer) so then I can promote your sheds on here and of course officially be entered into this year’s competition !
