Shed of the year 2023 news
So less than 50 days left to Enter your shed into #shedoftheyear 2023
Things are starting to warm up (slowly here in Sunny Penarth), I was hoping more sheds would enter over Easter but suppose as entry closes end of May - people are waiting for the other bank holidays to get their sheds ready for this year’s entry.
A recap for Entry
We have two new categories this year, mainly for people who don’t have pub sheds (our mostly popular category) or massive sheds, “Simple But Effective” but still have great spaces, also those sheddies who have colourful ones, we have “Most Colourful Shed” (Thanks to our sponsors Cuprinol for that one) looking forward to seeing those great sheds, they have also upped the amount of products the winner now gets £250 worth of Cuprinol products.
If you missed the news last newsletter, we have a set date to add your shed for the 17th year of #shedoftheyear, entry closes Wed 31st May 2023 at Midnight, We are also looking for a minimum of 6 photos for entry.
If you have added your Shed already, then feel free to add more photos before the deadline or maybe a video (upload to YouTube first).
Thanks to man child Elon Musk, we cannot embed tweets into Substack any more, so you will have to do with text and links … (btw you can read my notes here), will do it with Instagram posts next issue, if I can figure out getting full captions in!

This is what DALL·E thinks I look like when I asked it to create me taking a selfie with some sheds, it’s pretty accurate - as I do have some days I look like stig of the dump crossed with cat weasel
