Spring lasted a few days then, bring on Winter 2.0 but still Enter the 2024 Shed of the Year competition.
Behind the shed #64
I was hoping we would have a massive influx (ok a dozen) of sheds entered over the last week, the weather was starting to look good, then as normal in April - it got bad again, suppose like the British weather, shed of the year can be full of surprises as well.

Rum Bar - Budget - Cornwall #shedoftheyear owned by Sheddie Jon Matthews
"Our Rum Bar was made from a shed donated by a friend. To fit into the backyard I cut the front off and removed a third of the length.
It's mainly got bits in that we've collected over the years or had donated. We did have to buy a galvanised roof for it (£100) and optics (£20) for the spirits but apart from that we've not spent a penny on it.
We live in Cornwall and love rum so modelled it on a Rum Shack in the Caribbean.
It even has a porthole and the bouncer for the bar is a German Shepherd who thinks she has the best kennel in the world"
Downhill - Pub/Entertainment - Bath and North East Somerset #shedoftheyear owned by Sheddie Joanne Butterfield
"Downhill is an Apres Ski bar, halfway down my parents sloping garden. Decorated with real ski equipment and photos from all of their trips on the slopes. It has a bar, fridge, sofa, window bench seat, TV and music system and lighting. It looks like a ski chalet from outside, decorated with ski equipment inside. With real skis and poles hanging on the roof as well as hundreds of pictures from various ski trips with family and friends. It belongs to my parents and they spend most evenings in Downhill"
the ühut - Workshop/Studio - Midlothian #shedoftheyear owned by Sheddie Ian Crook (@uhutlife)
"Whole roof curved skylight allows in loads of light so making things is so much easier. The curved roof also enables maximum use of the space above my head so I can use it as an overhead potting shed. The curved sides and structural strength of the walls means that I can hang bikes vertically to reduce the space they take up.
I built one of these for myself and then my neighbours wanted me to build huts for them too."
